AI writing settings
Ravelun includes an AI writing assistant to help draft route descriptions, stop narrations, and translations. This settings page is where Ravelun staff connect the AI service.
Open Settings → AI write from the menu.
Ravelun staff only.
What editors see
In the route editor, look for AI buttons on text fields. You can:
- Draft — get a first version of a story from a few bullet points
- Improve — polish text you’ve already written
- Translate — move content between the languages you’ve selected for the route
Always read and edit AI output before publishing — it’s a starting point, not the final word.
Good uses for AI
- Turning bullet-point notes from a city guide into flowing narration
- Shortening text that’s too long for a stop
- First draft of a Dutch or German version when you wrote in English
When to write it yourself
- Local jokes, pronunciation of place names, sensitive history
- Official quotes or legally approved copy
- Brand voice that’s very specific to your organisation
