Status & visibility — quick reference
Two settings control whether visitors can use your route and how they find it. They’re easy to confuse — here’s the difference in plain language.
Status — is it ready for visitors?
| Status | Plain meaning |
|---|
| Draft | Still working on it — not live |
| In review | You think it’s done — waiting for approval |
| Published | Live for visitors (if visibility allows) |
Who can publish?
| Role | Can publish? |
|---|
| Ravelun admin | ✓ |
| Partner | ✓ (own routes) |
| Editor | ✗ — use “In review” and ask a colleague |
New routes always start as draft.
Visibility — how do people find it?
| Visibility | Plain meaning |
|---|
| Public | On the main Ravelun website for everyone to discover |
| Partner | On your organisation’s brand page |
| Direct link | Only people with the link — not listed anywhere |
| Hidden | Very restricted; not promoted |
Who can set visibility?
| Role | Public catalogue | Partner page | Link only | Hidden |
|---|
| Ravelun admin | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Partner | ✗ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Editor | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ |

Editing & deleting
- You can only edit routes you have permission for (your org’s routes, or ones you created)
- Editors can’t delete a route that’s already published
